Dean Ann Kurth will be one of the speakers at the 8th Annual Global Health Day: “Health Consequences of Environmental Change” held at the Yale School of Medicine on Thursday, March 29. She will moderate a conversation examining the Personal and Institutional Response to Environmental Change along with other colleagues, Gary Desir, MD, the Paul B. Beeson Professor of Medicine and Chair, Department of Internal Medicine at Yale; Robert Dubrow, MD, PhD, Professor of Epidemiology and Director for the Yale Climate Change and Health Initiative; and Jonathan Patz, MD, MPH, Professor and John P. Holton Chair of Health and the Environment, and Director of the Global Health Institute at the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
Dr. Patz will also give a talk on Global Health in the Anthropocene: Risks and Opportunities from Climate Change, and there will be continuing health education and poster sessions. See the schedule for the day here.
