Iain Holmes is an Associate Chief Nurse from Upstate New York.
Iain is a staunch nurse advocate and believer that nursing is key to providing exceptional patient care.
Before pursuing leadership, Iain worked as a flight nurse transporting critically ill and injured patients needing specialized care. He has presented at numerous transportation conferences on topics including, transport considerations for the growing single ventricle population and aeronautical information for medical crewmembers as a means to enhance flight safety.
Iain obtained his undergraduate education from the University of Buckingham, UK, his nursing education from Castleton University, VT and his graduate degree from Saint Joseph’s College of Maine. Iain currently is on the medical advisory board of the R’Baby Foundation, the editorial review board of Air Medical Journal and an active member in AONE.
