Zachary Maggio

Dr. Zachary Maggio is a higher education scholar and enrollment management leader with more than 20 years of experience guiding institutions through strategic enrollment planning and student success initiatives. At YSN he oversees the offices of Admissions, Financial Aid, Registrar, and Student Life, leading an integrated unit that supports the full student lifecycle.
 
Before joining YSN, Dr. Maggio spent 15 years at New York University, where he was part of the inaugural leadership team that established a new school of public health. In that role, he helped design and implement the school’s admissions and financial aid strategies and served as a senior advisor to the founding dean. Earlier in his career, he worked in the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs at the University of California, Berkeley.
 
Dr. Maggio holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley; a master’s degree in Philosophy and Public Policy from the London School of Economics; and a Ph.D. in Higher Education from New York University.
