Saveena Dhall

Prior to joining the Yale School of Nursing community, Saveena served as dean and director of the Asian and Asian American Cultural Center (AACC) at Yale for sixteen years. In addition to working with the Cultural Center, as Assistant Dean of Yale College, Saveena served as the Director of various Yale College programs including the Mellon Mays and Bouchet Undergraduate Fellowships Program, Cultural Connections, Eli Whitney Scholars Program, Family Weekend, and a variety of Yale College initiatives. Saveena came to Yale College after completing a fellowship at Harvard University in their Administrative Fellowship Program and subsequently working in the Office of Student and Academic Affairs at the Harvard Graduate School of Architecture.  Saveena’s previous professional experience includes non-profit management, social justice and community programming, graduate academic and student affairs, admissions and recruitment and consultant work. She received a B.A. from Connecticut College and a Master’s Degree in Administration, Planning and Social Policy from the Harvard University Graduate School of Education.
