Student Financials Checklist


  • Federal Loan Requirements

a. Signed Financial Aid Offer letter: Found in your application portal

b. Signed Graduate plus loan authorization form

c. Entrance counseling session: Students who have accepted federal loans must complete the entrance counseling session for Graduate or Professional Students. You may complete this session at the following link: https://studentaid.gov/entrance-counseling/

This session cannot be completed until your loans are processed; you will receive an email from Yale when this requirement can be completed.

d. Master Promissory note (MPN): Students who have accepted federal loans must complete a Master promissory note for both the Federal Unsubsidized loan as well as the Federal Direct Plus loan. You may complete these sessions at the following links:

  •  Scholarship Requirements: For all students awarded scholarships

a. Submit a completed Biography: Complete the biography survey here

  • Students Bills & Credit Refunds (June 2022)

a. Students may view their bill through the YalePay system at the following link: https://student-accounts.yale.edu/yalepay

b. Yale Offers payment plans with a sign-up cost of $50. For more information about payment plans use the following link: https://student-accounts.yale.edu/paying-your-bill/yale-payment-plan

c. Students with a credit balance (a negative balance) must request the funds be sent via direct deposit or paper check. You may request a refund at the following link: https://yub.yale.edu/
