Mrs. Martin’s doctoral interest is focused on Moral courage for nurses and leading organizations to integrate an ethical, compassionate culture.
Currently, Sylvia is an Administrate Director for Kaiser Permamante, leading all clinical departments and operations at two sites.
Sylvia earned her BSN and MSN from the University of Alabama in Huntsville. As a leader in healthcare, it is Mrs. Martin’s passion to inspire and empower others. Sylvia leads with compassion and accountability. Her journey in healthcare has led her through many aspects of healthcare and this contributes to strong, inclusive leadership skills as she uses her strengths in strategic planning and innovative thinking.
In her free time Sylvia enjoys community service, exercise, cooking, playing the cello and quality time with her family.
