Jennifer Suess

Jennifer Suess is the Director of Obstetrics at Jupiter Medical Center in Jupiter, Florida. 

Jennifer earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Mississippi University for Women in 2006 where she was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society. After finding her passion as a Labor and Delivery nurse, Jennifer spent the next six years expanding her clinical and cultural competence by working across the United States as a travel nurse. In 2012, she made Washington, D.C. her home, becoming Perinatal Patient Safety Nurse at Sibley Memorial Hospital/Johns Hopkins Health.

Jennifer then earned a Master of Science in Nursing in Clinical Nurse Leadership with honors from Sacred Heart University where she was awarded the 2018 Outstanding Field Placement Award. While earning her degree, Jennifer became Nurse Manager of Labor and Delivery at Sibley Memorial Hospital. During her tenure, Jennifer managed a new tower move and substantial growth in delivery volume while working with leadership to improve HCAHPS inpatient scores at such an unprecedented rate the team was awarded the 2018 Press Ganey Success Story Team Award.        

A new resident of Florida, Jennifer has recently become Director of Obstetrics at Jupiter Medical Center and will continue to focus on leveraging interdisciplinary teams to improve patient safety, quality, and experience both in her doctoral studies and clinical practice.
