Manvir Nijjar

Manvir received her Master of Public Health, focused in health policy and management, at Boston University in 2018. 

In her time at BU, she served as a revenue operations intern at Novocure and as a strategic management consultant for Gel4Med, a smarts material device company.  She currently holds a CAHME accreditation and is LEAN Six Sigma Green Belt certified.  In 2011, she received her BA in government with a minor in psychology and business from the University of Texas.  In 2012, she received her BS in nursing from Texas Tech University and graduated Summa Cum Laude.  Her clinical background focused largely on cardiothoracic transplants at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas.  

She currently serves as the Transplant Quality Manager at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, MA.  Her role involves overseeing the regulations, policies, data collection and analysis, and quality and process improvement initiatives for the heart transplant, kidney transplant, bone marrow transplant and LVAD program.  

Manvir is passionate about the utilization of technology, strategy, policy, and operational efficiency methods to improve workflow and improve access of care to communities in need.
