Johanna Beliveau

Johanna Beliveau is an experienced healthcare leader with 20 years in nursing practice. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, a Master of Business Administration, and a Lean Six-Sigma Black Belt certificate.

A member of the American Organization of Nurse Executives, Ms. Beliveau was selected as a Nurse Director fellow in 2015.  Her clinical and leadership experience includes hospice and palliative care, pediatrics, hospice and hospital operations, regulatory readiness, quality improvement and patient safety science.  Through her career, Ms. Beliveau has implemented several strategic initiatives including reducing central line associated blood stream infections, reducing employee turnover, implementing team care behaviors, and safety behaviors for error prevention. She currently practices at Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center, A Dartmouth-Hitchcock affiliate, as the Director of Quality, Patient Safety, and Compliance.  Her project work during the DNP program will focus on nursing workforce development and advancement in a rural health system.
