Brandon LaRoche is currently the Director for Medical/Surgical Nursing at York Hospital in York, Maine.
There, he is responsible for the management of clinical nursing practice and patient care delivery on the inpatient medical units.
He received his BSN and MBA degrees from Rivier University.
In addition to his leadership background, Brandon has a strong passion for improving health systems, promoting quality care, and reducing costs. He is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International, is certified as a progressive care nurse (PCCN) and is a certified professional in patient safety (CPPS).
He has extensive expertise in managing projects and chairing various shared governance committees and he utilizes lean methodology to identify solutions to complex systems issues. Throughout his career, he has assisted in the formulation of various initiatives for Magnet certification including the development of a professional practice model, peer review process, and improvements to several nurse sensitive indicators. Through his work, he demonstrates his strong commitment to patient centered care.
