Faye Christen

Faye Christen is a lifelong advocate for health and education. Her focus is to help health systems provide the highest quality, culturally-competent, compassionate, and safe care to all people; especially to those most in need.

This is the reason she works for LAC+USC Medical Center, a safety net hospital that serves the vulnerable population. She started her career as a Critical Care Nurse where the forces of magnetism were hardwired into her practice and this foundation has assisted her in improving unit cultures and quality outcomes as a leader. After a decade of acute care experience, she has recently transitioned into the outpatient world as the Primary Nursing Care Director where she hopes to make a bigger impact in primary and secondary prevention.

Faye grew up in Los Angeles and received both her BSN and MSN degrees from California State University, Los Angeles. She has also served her community by volunteering in a homeless shelter and coaching youth sports. Sports is her favorite pastime and she is ecstatic about Lebron James moving into her city!
