Nancy Rizzuto is currently the Director of Critical Care and Cardiac Services at Brookdale University Hospital in Brooklyn, New York.
Her nursing career started at St. Vincent’s Hospital & Medical Center in New York in 1981 as a CTICU nurse. Caring for Cardiac Surgery patients for many years enabled her to move into management and develop programs such as TAVR and ECMO. She received her MSN ANP from Long Island University where she was inducted into the Harriet Rothkopf Heilbrunn School of Nursing Honor Society.
Nancy’s vision is to be able to work with professional coalitions to develop and implement health programs, such as health promotion, and disease prevention for vulnerable patients, groups or communities.
