Event description:
Join keynote speaker Angela Richard-Eaglin, DNP, MSN, FNP-BC, CNE, FAANP, CDE®, associate clinical professor, Yale School of Nursing, as she discusses ways inequitable practices and systems continue to adversely impact the well-being of Black and African American people. She will also provide strategies for sustainable transformation of health disparities.
At the end of the presentation attendees will be able to:
- Critically appraise the sustained impact of racism and discrimination on the health of Black and African American communities on a macrocosmic level
- Analyze the application of the humanitarian ethos, ethical principles and cultural intelligence in advancing health equity for Black and African American people
