About
Katy Maggio MS, RN, ANP, PMHNP-BC is a lecturer in Nursing. She holds bachelor’s degrees from both U.C. Berkeley and New York University, and she earned her master’s degree and completed a post-graduate certificate in Psychiatric-Mental Health at the NYU Rory Myers College of Nursing. Katy has served as a preceptor for numerous psychiatric nurse practitioner students enrolled in programs at New York University and Columbia University.

Clinical Practice
Katy has practiced as a psychiatric nurse practitioner since 2016. She has worked with clients across the lifespan in various settings including a community mental health clinic, a day treatment program in a New York City high school, a college student health center, as well as in her own private practice. While working in college mental health, she was a member of specialty interdisciplinary teams that focused on the treatment of eating disorders and ADHD. Katy seeks to partner with clients to achieve a holistic understanding of their concerns and to utilize shared decision making in treatment planning.
