COLLAB-RN

COLLAB-RN is an academic practice research partnership between the Yale School of Nursing (YSN) and the Yale New Haven Health System (YNHHS). The goal of this partnership is to expand research and clinical collaborations between the YSN and the YNHHS with a key emphasis on developing a joint program of research. The knowledge generated from this collaboration will inform continued improvements to the YNHHS workforce and serve as an exemplar for academic-practice partnership for large scale nursing workforce research. The team aims to enhance the capacity of research in the nursing workforce and recognizes the potential for academic practice partnerships beyond clinical skills, to develop nursing research to its highest capacity and with the greatest impact to the nursing workforce and patients.

The novelty of COLLAB-RN as an academic practice partnership as a novel collaborative framework will be studied and learnings from this project will inform continued improvements to the YNHHS workforce and develop larger scale workforce research in nursing.
