Bedford Falls Foundation
In spring of 2025, the COLLAB-RN team was awarded funding to further expand nursing workforce research at YSN and YNHHS. Support through the Bedford Falls Foundation affords the team with the critical resources needed to accelerate COLLAB-RN’s research on nursing workforce issues, develop the human capital at Yale and within its region, and expand and evolve the academic-practice partnership. Perhaps most importantly, this support allows the team to have real-world impact on the lives of nurses at Yale, Connecticut and the greater New England region, which will inform a replicable model for other health systems and schools of nursing.
AONL grant received
The team was recently awarded the sole research grant from the American Organization of Nursing Leadership to study nurse manager retention. In this project, the team is studying how nurse manager turnover may contribute to staff nurse turnover and nurse satisfaction. The project will run for one year, from June 2025-June 2026 using data from the YNHHS.
