Poy Sakjirapapong Yamada is an assistant director of simulation and lecturer of prelicensure programs at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) School of Nursing.
Poy teaches theory and clinical in medical-surgical nursing courses and remediates clinical skills for the prelicensure students. Poy is a certified critical care registered nurse who has worked as a registered nurse in critical care units (adult and pediatrics) for nearly 14 years. She received MSN degree in Nursing Education from Duke University (2014), BSN from Azusa Pacific University (2008), and ADN from Cerritos College (2004).
