Financial Aid Application Forms

U.S. citizens and permanent residents

YSN students eligible for U.S. federal student aid need to complete only the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

  • • For the 2018-2019 FAFSA, you will need information from your 2016 tax return or, if you did not file a federal tax return for 2016, your 2016 income information.
  • • Yale’s FAFSA code is 001426.
  • • If you filed a 2016 tax return and are eligible to use IRS Data Retrieval in the FAFSA, we recommend that you do so.

All eligible U.S. citizens and permanent residents seeking financial aid are required to complete the FAFSA. There is no separate application for YSN scholarships.

Veterans and active service members may be interested in education benefits made available by the U.S. government. YSN participates in the Yellow Ribbon Program.
