Yellow Ribbon Program at the Yale School of Nursing

The Yellow Ribbon Program supplements the Post-9/11 GI® benefit at participating private universities, like Yale. Yellow Ribbon provides additional funding for tuition costs above the 9/11 GI®  Bill maximum. Students must qualify for 100% of the 9/11 GI® benefit to receive the Yellow Ribbon supplement. The amount of Yellow Ribbon funding at the school of Nursing is up to $10,000 for up to 10 students. These funds are awarded on a first come first serve basis and contingent on the receipt of your Certificate of eligibility (COE)  For more details see the VA’s Yellow Ribbon benefits table (link is external).
