The Southern Connecticut Black Nurses Association is proud to present its 2021 Annual MLK Brunch (virtual). The virtual event is an ongoing commemoration of Dr. King and his enduring legacy. We have all just come through a tumultuous 2020 in which the critical role of nurses in supporting and caring for our communities was on full display. Despite the tremendous stresses and losses of the global pandemic and the unending structural duress of anti-Black racism we stand here together, as guardians of “Our Beloved Community: In the Name of Justice, Equity and Love.”
The Annual MLK Brunch is a signature event where we raise money to provide scholarships and resources that go to support the educational success of individuals within the Black community who aspire to become nurses.
