Tuition and Fees for 2018-2019

Full-time tuition for graduate nursing students is $20,910 per term in 2018-19. Students in the first year of the Graduate Entry Prespecialty in Nursing (GEPN) program are assessed an additional summer term tuition fee of $16,620. Tuition for part-time students, including all students enrolled in the DNP program, is $13,900 each semester.  Students enrolled in the Post-Master’s Certificate program, or on a Non-matriculated basis, may instead be assessed at the per-credit rate of $1,650/credit. Acceptance Fee

A nonrefundable fee of $600 is required within three weeks of the receipt of an offer of admission in order to secure a place in the entering class. For matriculating students, $300 will be credited to the fall term tuition.

Required Fees

Incoming first-year students pay a technology fee of $1,840. All returning students are assessed a technology fee of $630. All YSN students pay an annual student activities fee of $110. Physical assessment courses have a lab fee of up to $420, and some clinical courses may also have a lab fee. Students are also responsible for the cost of clinical background check, equipment, uniforms, books, photocopying, transportation to and from clinical sites, and on-site parking, if needed. The University requires hospitalization insurance for all students; the charge for single student coverage with the Yale Health Plan during the 2017-18 year was $2,332, the 2018-19 fee will be made available by Yale Health in May. This fee may be waived with proof of alternative coverage for each year of enrollment.

Other Fees

Service fees are charged for late registration, course schedule changes after the add/drop period, Internet connectivity from a student residence, late return of library materials, and the like.
