In the Media: ONS Voice: COVID-19 Reminds Us That Nurses Are Health Diplomats for Humanity

Yale School of Nursing student Christa Varnadoe, BS, RN, OCN, published a Letter to the Editor in Oncology Nursing Society’s “ONS Voice.” Varnadoe is a master of science candidate in the Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Specialty. 

“To save lives, nurses demand accountability from all of our political leaders. Nurses demand consistent dissemination of factual information regarding COVID-19. Nurses advocate for equal access to COVID-19 testing and care for older adults; those with underlying health conditions; those with weakened immune systems; and the uninsured, undocumented, and incarcerated.”
