Dr. Saad B. Omer MBBS, MPH, PhD, FIDSA, director of the Yale Institute for Global Health, recently talked with multiple media outlets on a variety of COVID-19 topics. Omer discussed prioritizing vaccine distribution to health workers and first responders with The Wall Street Journal, and talked to NBC News about why individual states should not vet vaccines on their own. One of his tweets was included in a piece by The Hill about the importance and limitations of masks, and he talked to The New York Times about how shark oil is probably unnecessary for creating a COVID-19 vaccine.
